Some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have declared their unhappiness over what they call an ‘exhorbitant’ fee.

The members after learning that flagbearer aspirants are expected to cough out Ghc20, 000 and Ghc400, 000 as nomination and filling fees respectively, took to social media to pour out their displeasure. Some of whom aluded to the fact that the decision was reached to technically knock out some of the aspirants, who may rarely raise this amount.

In a meeting held on Wednesday, the National Executive Council, is believed have concluded that such figures be paid by the aspirants.

The party is yet to make an official statement on the decision. However, it is believed that all these issues will be addressed in Thursday’s press conference to be held by the party.
