Ghanaian songwriter and singer Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, widely known as Akwaboah has debunked claims suggesting he stole a song written by his colleague musician K. Bibini.

Akwaboah said he is “too big to steal a song”.

K.Bibini in an interview accused Akwaboah of stealing his song title ‘Obiara W) Problem’ which literally means ‘everyone has a problem’.

He further stated that his song and that of Akwaboah ‘Problem’ song he wrote featured Nautyca had the same introduction and concept of the rich and poor having problems but Akwaboah intentionally decided to use names he didn’t mention in the song, reason he strongly believe Akwaboah has stolen from him.

In a respond, Akwaboah noted “he is too big to steal a song” adding that he own a lot of songs to his credit and didn’t do that by stealing people songs.

According to him, his spirit will not allow him to commit such act.

“My songs come naturally to me by the grace of God”, he added.

He emphasized that to take someone’s song and redo is below his standard, adding that “If I want to steal someone’s song I would have stolen my grandfather’s.”
