DECLARATION OF INTENT TO CONTEST FOR THE DEPUTY NATIONAL YOUTH ORGANIZER OF THE NDC

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

I do agree that as Democrats we have failed to take the core ideals of the Social Democratic Party and adapting them to circumstances.

There is yet to be a serious conversation about the youth of the party. The youth are becoming hopeless while the grassroots is suffocating. Our grassroots is dormant because of leadership failures. The system is failing the youth at a very rapid rate and I am saying it is time to take bold measures.

I grew up in the NDC and I want to see young people of NDC thrive. For years I have served the party at the grassroots and I understand the plight of the ordinary member, the unemployed graduate, the TEIN member who sacrificed his academics for party, the patron who received attacks from other colleagues, the unemployed branch and constituency youth organizers, the academia and the total neglect towards our own.

As a young man who has dedicated myself to providing platforms for youths to express themselves; working with others to establish and promote healthy, vibrant communities; and speaking out about important national issues, I see the need for an infusion of new people who bring different experiences and fresh perspectives required to make the necessary decisions. Decisions that are vital for leading the NDC forward to rescue the ordinary Ghanaian from this super incompetent NPP Government. I will do this. I will listen. I will take those tough decisions, making NDC once again attractive to the youth, where young people can afford to live, where the NDC youth are empowered financially and economically, where NDC is fiscally responsible.

I love NDC and, with your support, we can continue working together to ensure that our YOUTH remain strong and vital and that the decision- making process welcomes our youth and grassroots participation.

I have tested my abilities, consulted and humbly decided to accept this new challenge by making the party more attractive, giving the youth a new hope for power 2020.

It’s time for the next generation to have a say. I am running to own the issues facing our future, and begin to respond to these issues my generation was raised being told are our responsibility.

We can no longer be the “leaders of tomorrow,” we must be the leaders of today because the issues will not wait. Standing up for NDC, mobilizing the youth and the grassroots for power 2020.

LONG LIVE THE NDC
LONG LIVE GHANA.

BRIGHT NUDOKPO – HONU
