The occasion of Christmas as perceived by many, comes with almsgiving, social gathering and merry making with the loved ones and that was demonstrated affectionately by the Former Regional Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress of the Region on Sunday, 30th December, 2018 at her residence at Dormaa Asuotiano.

Nana Takyiwaa is noted for her annual feast for Regular Callers within Dormaa East, Dormaa West and Dormaa Central for the past years and the significant aspect of this year’s feastivity was the extended invitation of Madam Gifty, an active female communicator at Drobo to honour and admonished her to continue her good works for the Party.

In Nana’s submission, she acknowledged the hardworks of the Regular Callers and gave them assurances of her support to carry out actively with their roles for victory 2020 as she reiterated her willingness to work with all for victory 2020.

She also unequivocally, advocated for the endorsement of the candidature of HE John Dramani Mahama in the Party’s upcoming presidential primaries scheduled for 26th January, 2019. She eloquently elaborated on the enviable leadership prowess, experiences, the unprecedented achievement and the glowing wishes of Ghanaians for HE John D. Mahama’s comeback to put the economy on its proper track for our economic freedom come 2020.

Mr. Charles Akowuah Tuffour, the Regional Communication Officer as an invited Guest, took the Regular Callers through issue base Communication, Communication with facts and the need to always use the numerous local developmental projects within their constituencies for references on radio as these projects are easily visible and identified by the local people. He therefore asked them to give out the importance and benefits of those projects in their social and economic development within their respective communities for the people to appreciated their full benefits.

Finally, Charles Akowuah added his voice on the need for the Region to vote overwhelmingly for HE John D. Mahama as he described him as ”the surest bet” to lead the Party to victory 2020.

The Regular Callers expressed their strong appreciation to Nana Takyiwaa for recognizing their effort and assured her of their unflinching support to propagate the works of the Party as well as selling out HE John D. Mahama to all the delegates even beyond their territories.
