The latest incident that had broken the camel’s back for the impending demonstration against the Divisional Command is the release of one notorious convicted drug peddler.

The drug peddler is allegedly noted in Ada West for the sale of hard drugs, and his criminal activities have allegedly badly influenced the moral lives of teenagers and students.

The attitude of the Ada Divisional Police Command, another group told Awake News, was thwarting the efforts of Adzoteye Lawer Akrofi, Ada West DCE, who, since assumption of office, has been working very hard with committed security personnel and watchdog committees to reduce crime in the area to the barest minimum.

The residents said some of the bad personnel at the Divisional Command are contributing to the insecurity in the area and called on the IGP to overhaul all the personnel at the Command as soon as possible for peace to prevail between the residents and the Command.
